About Costuary
Did you know? Costuary is a play on the words “cosplay” and “sanctuary?” It’s a safe place for cosplayers to interact with one another, especially since we want to push the agenda of the community forums! Costuary promotes meaningful conversations in order to build an impactful cosplaying community.
Costuary also aims to educate cosplayers through our videos that showcase cosplayers who integrate sustainability practices into their cosplay crafts and lifestyle. We make a great deal of sharing information about sustainability in the Philippines that would be digestible to a more creative audience.
The butterfly as a whole symbolizes transformation; while the wings represent hands in relation to cosplayers working on their craft.
The star symbolizes cosplay as a whole, recognizing that cosplayers a re the star of the show.
Did you also know that Costuary is actually a project produced by De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde students for the completion of their capstone courses? They were motivated by the desire to promote sustainable cosplaying among Filipino cosplayers, and with all their research and gathered information, it became possible for this website to come to life!

Reanna Delos Reyes
An occasional manga and anime enthusiast, who draws inspiration from these mediums. She advocates for environmental sustainability and is also a frequent thrift-enthusiast.
Lizzy Dorego
An anime consumer since birth, probably, and will continue until death…most likely. Her favorite anime usually consists of girly idols, so she also has a knack for fashion. In fact, she is an advocate of the anti-fast-fashion agenda and loves thrifting all of her outfits instead of buying them from said corporations.
Ayien Enage
An avid lover of manga and anime, and also channels her love for these art forms through cosplay. She brings her favorite characters to life and expresses her creativity by using each costume as a canvas and immersing herself into the colorful realms of her favorite shows.
